How to Edit photos and Create Graphics Without Photoshop

I recently started taking a photography and Photoshop class at my local adult community center. Until now, I didn’t know how to use Photoshop. Even though I now know the basics, there are a few websites I still like to use because they are quick and easy. Also, who can afford Photoshop nowadays?!

When I started this blog, I knew I wanted to edit my pictures to look more professional. Thus began my search to find a website that would edit pictures and create graphics for free. There are three websites I now use that offer different things, but can work wonders.

To edit pictures, I use PicMonkey and Pixlr Express. PicMonkey is incredibly user friendly and probably takes an hour to learn. Pixlr, on the other hand, has three different versions and I’ve found Express to be the easiest if you don’t have Photoshop experience. Pixlr Editor is a great tool and very similar to Photoshop.

To Create Graphics, I use PicMonkey and Canva. Picmonkey can create graphics and collages (my links for the week is created on PicMonkey) that are user friendly. Canva is a great tool for written content and has more images and graphics than PicMonkey.

I use these three websites on a weekly basis because they make life easier. Are there any websites you use that are free for making graphics or editing pictures?
