Gold Polka Dots - black and white new years resolutions

We are all guilty of making resolutions we never seem to keep. The most popular are to work out, eat healthier, save money and find a job or even a new one. These things may seem daunting, especially if we don’t know where to start. For that reason, I’ve put together some links that may help ranging from fitness to careers. Hopefully it is a good start to get you going this year!

**I know this doesn’t fall under the ‘style’ part of the blog, but I want to talk about more than just clothes because let’s face it, life is much more than just clothes. The reason why I do have a style component on this blog is because I want to inspire you to shop your own closet and to find new ways of wearing what you already own. If you feel like you really need to enhance your closet, then hopefully the items I show on the blog are affordable enough to be wardrobe staples. Most of the clothes I’ve worn here are eithergifts (birthday and Christmas) or items I’ve bought because I felt they were actual wardrobe staples. I want this space to be more of a source of inspiration rather than a place of just materialism.**

Without further ado, my first goal will be to get back on the exercise wagon. Before the wedding, I was on a serious mission. Whether it was by choice or not (dress didn’t fit), I worked out 6 days a week.  I haven’t routinely worked out since then and it is noticeable in my lack of energy. This week, I am getting back on the routine.

What is your first goal for 2014?
