Road Trip to New Mexico and Arizona part 2

Last Sunday afternoon we headed to Sedona, Arizona! We got there in time for dinner at Dahl & Di Luca and without a doubt, it was the BEST Italian food I’ve ever had. If you are ever in Sedona, go eat at this restaurant and order their signature chicken dish, trust me!

On Monday we woke up early to see the sunrise at Cathedral Rock. This trail isn’t too difficult and about two miles round trip. At the top, there are amazing views of the city and more red rocks (ha). I’m so glad we woke up early to see the sun rising because the lighting was glorious.

After our hike, we rented a jeep from Barlow’s for 2 hours to take on Soldier Pass trail. I’ve always wanted a jeep, even as a kid, so this was one of my dreams realized. Off-roading in a jeep is one of the coolest things ever. I’ve never been off-roading though, so I’m pretty biased. I am so glad that in the short time we had in Sedona, we were able to hike and go off-roading.

I would definitely go back to Sedona to hike and maybe eat more Italian food. It is a small town, but there is so much to do and see.

P.s. Leggings, t-shirts and Tide pens are a girl’s best friend on a road trip. Twenty minutes into our road trip, I spilled coffee and my breakfast on my shirt. Luckily, my handy dandy Tide pen got the stains out!
