Crop Top: C/O Ethica
I felt like it was finally time to join the crop top bandwagon. Thanks to Ethica, I finally have a striped (of course) crop top that I can wear with any high-waisted skirt or pants. This American made crop top is perfect to wear through fall because even though it is short, it has a turtleneck! I love adding pieces to my closet that can be used for most of the year.
I had been on the fence about wearing crop tops because I don’t like showing too much skin. Finding the right bottoms is key to wearing crop tops because it can even make showing some skin look classy.
If you’ve had these same doubts, pair your crop top with bottoms that are flowy and have a high waist. Maxi skirts, circle skirts and wide leg pants are perfect for crop tops. I always try to balance my outfit by only wearing one item either top or bottom that is tight and shows more skin with the complete opposite. Remember my juxtaposition post? Opposites do attract, friends.
I wore this outfit at the Anaheim Packing District last week after work. It seriously is the mecca of everything hipster with the industrial furniture, food and décor. I was in heaven and definitely over stimulated. There are hammocks inside, rows of food stands and even a popsicle bar. If you are in or near Orange County, I suggest you check it out! You will need hours to admire everything.
A special thanks to my friend, Winnie, who took these fantastic photos!
