The holidays are almost upon us, which means you are undoubtedly starting to make plans. Plans of where to meet family, what to make, and what to wear! I know I can’t be the only one who thinks about what I’m going to wear that ensures maximum space for food and comfort. And, of course, look good while doing it all.
These six outfits will (literally) have you back from hanging out with friends to spending time with in-laws. Rest assured that you can look chic AND comfortable at the dinner table.
Go to an Office Holiday Party with the Alma Wrap Dress
When designing this dress, I knew this would be ‘the’ holiday outfit. I haven’t decided if I would wear it for Thanksgiving or Christmas, but it will for sure make an appearance this season. I’m actually wearing it with a cropped bra (think sports bra), so it doesn’t get more comfortable than that! The Alma can be worn with sneakers for a dressed down look or heels/boots if you feel fancy. If it were very cold (which in LA, it’s not), I’d also add shear black tights that are either plain or patterned. Check out Swedish Stockings if you are in the market for sustainably hosiery!

Go to Dinner with the In-Laws
Feel chic while also comfortable with the in-laws in the Sueños jumpsuit. And if you have to wear pants, might as well wear some with elastic! The last thing you want is to be worrying about your outfit, which is why jumpsuits are a closet hero.
Aquaitalia boots in brown (just bought these and they are SO COMFORTABLE)
Go to Friendsgiving Dinner
I call this my “I can’t have anything tight around my belly because of all the delicious food I’m about to eat” outfit. It is no surprise the Amor is our best-selling dress. With its soft and stretchy corduroy fabric, it’s beyond comfortable. Layer the Amor with a turtleneck, tights, and boots, and our outfit is winter appropriate!
Go to a Gift Exchange Party
I loved this outfit so much that I wore it again today. This is the more casual outfit of the six, but still elevated for the holidays. Pair the navy Lena pants with a streamlined top/sweater and you have a holiday outfit. I would wear this outfit for a gift exchanging party because you never know when you have to squat, fight, or jump for that gift!
Go Netflix and Actually Chill
Soft and cozy for a dressed up night-in watching Netflix and eating gingerbread cookies. The oversized sweater paired with the Avery slip dress feels like elevated pajamas.
Go on a Date Night
You will catch me under a mistletoe wearing this outfit! Fun fact: I’ve never kissed under a mistletoe, ha! I believe the Stella jumpsuit is one of our sexier outfits. With the wrap detail, 3/4 sleeves, and tapered legs it highlights curves beautifully. If I had to a quintessential Sotela design, it would be the Stella jumpsuit.
